If you enjoyed the Boondock Saints movies then I’m sure you were always left wondering about the past of Il Duce. Wait no longer because your prayers have been answered. This 12-Gauge Comics title is written by Troy Duffy and J.B. Love and illustrated by Guus Floor (Creepy Comics).

Il Duce begins to tell his sons the story of how first got started. In 1959, New York City, Il Duce witnesses the murder of his boss and mentor. Enraged, his friend Louie try’s everything he can to calm him down but blood is the only remedy. Il Duce goes on a spree of merciless killings to avenge the death of his mentor. Even though it is over Il Duce says he can not stop. Ever the quick thinker Louie comes up with a plan to both their benefit.

Very satisfying in terms of feeding your need for more story about Il Duce. As bloody and brutal as you could hope for. Thrown in the mix between the main story is one of the two brothers tracking down people associated with Yakavetta. Grab this book for more on the Boondock Saints world.
